What Now? Part Three
At this time, one aspect of “how I think it all works” is that each of we humans, using abilities that naturally come with our participation in this basic Earth system, energize thoughts and emotions that connect with those of other humans to bring about physical events and experiences. Then each of us interprets events and experiences into “stories“ we tell ourselves and others, most of which come forth from frameworks within The Experiment.
One day in the recent past, when I didn't know how to think about a situation that I had previously given a lot of attention to, inner guidance advised me to literally plunge deeper for a more “realistic” story and picture—which I did. Well, it has played out marvelously. And during the process, in a natural way, any lingering fettered Experiment energies of opposition, hierarchies, and either/or thinking have been disappearing. Within that deeper, more realistic dimension I've been seeing, hearing, and understanding various points of view and perspectives as valid from within that individual's context and personal life.
Hence, I've been watching and reading about internal U.S. conflicts and recent global conflicts between the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, European countries, and others from that more expanded position of understanding, as best I can—what are the goals, objectives, worldviews, and strategies of the various players? I think basic, unfettered personal power is very different than how power is used by we humans within the context of still-existing cultural Experiment frameworks.
At the same time, I've been deeply and compassionately affected by multiple tragedies taking place globally, as I listen to people's stories from Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Africa, and elsewhere … and many here in the United States are obviously suffering as they alleviate their pain with increased use of heroin and other pain-killers.
Discernment has been and is a continual emphasis by both Jim and I. Living as we do amidst our current-day American human environment of increasing available information, speed, more and more sensationalism, and all the potential conversations one can have via technology with other people … in our own lives, Jim and I have both felt the need for putting even more significance upon how we use our time and attention. This focus also includes from whom and where we get our news and information. My choices continue to be primarily from PBS and NPR options.
Currently, I am watching the roll-out of the television series, “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey,” an update of Carl Sagan's 1980 “Cosmos” series on PBS. This contemporary version is being aired on both Fox and National Geographic channels, hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. I've been seeing it as both a modern-day scientific story, and also a metaphoric story. I think the metaphor is that the series is vividly showing we humans, as a species and individuals, that we are an interwoven and natural part of the Cosmos, of the Whole of Being—it's our basic home!
During my ongoing process of standing in the present, reverse engineering, and welcoming all emotions and thoughts … I used a design that every thing, including what we humans have energized, has its own reality and desires. By some, this has been called value fulfillment, where in fundamental ways every thing is in a transformation process of its own healthy enhancement, that also potentially enhances others, too. It's been a joy to think this way!
Another development in recent months is that in addition to the four interacting time frames I've used for years—natural world time, cultural time, spacious time, and my time—a fifth one has emerged: wholistic time, where all the pieces have appropriately come together, in a harmonious convergence. How do I know that? … there's an inner sense that feels wholistically right.
Looking back from today, it seems these last two years in my life have been a major transition time, where I had crafted A Completely Different Reality to Be amidst, within which I had many wondrous, shimmering experiences. Nonetheless, within that framework I was using contrasts I had available from all my experiences and studies about The Experiment. Then one day I realized that within wholistic time, it was time to go beyond those cultural contrasts and connections … all the various pieces had now come together.
